The ENERGY STAR Difference**

During your no-cost home energy check-up, an Energy Analyst may recommend products including ENERGY STAR certified LED bulbs and smart thermostats. Products that have earned the ENERGY STAR deliver exceptional features, while using less energy.

An ENERGY STAR certified light bulb lasts up to 15 times longer, saves about $55 in electricity costs over its lifetime and uses about 70-90% less energy than incandescent lighting. They also are durable, versatile, and most are dimmable.

Almost half of the annual energy bill for the average American household goes to heating and cooling- that's more than $900 a year. An ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostat is a Wi-Fi-enabled, programmable thermostat that learns your patterns and automatically adjusts your home's temperature to improve comfort. Plus, smart thermostats offer convenience, you can set and change heating and cooling schedules from your smartphone or tablet, no matter where you are.
