The Pepco instant rebate offering will end on October 31, 2026. The last day to use your coupon and receive an instant rebate on eligible heat pump water heaters will be October 31, 2026. For questions regarding your instant rebate call 866-353-5798.

To receive a rebate on a qualifying appliance/heat pump water heater/smart thermostat in 2026, please complete your purchase by November 30, 2026. If you have already purchased a qualifying appliance, rebate application and receipts for 2026 purchases must be submitted by December 7, 2026.

Pepco is awaiting a decision by the Maryland Public Service Commission about extending our energy efficiency programs into 2027. Please check back here for updates or call 866-353-5798 with any questions.

The EmPOWER Maryland charge funds programs that can help you reduce your energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions and save you money. Since the inception of the EmPOWER Maryland program in 2008, the programs have saved $14.5 billion on installed measures at a cost of $4.1 billion. In addition to new program costs, this charge includes paying off the uncollected costs that were accrued over time by programs required by the EmPOWER statute and authorized by the Commission. In accordance with House Bill 864 the uncollected amounts will be fully paid by the end of 2032.
