Proven Value

  • Your purchase is backed by the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) ENERGY STAR label, the nationally recognized symbol for energy efficiency.
  • An ENERGY STAR home uses less energy for heating, cooling and water heating on average compared to standard new homes built to code.
  • Over the years, you can also save thousands of dollars in maintenance costs.
  • Should the time come to sell your home, you’ll be able to set it apart by highlighting its trusted ENERGY STAR label – making your decision to buy an ENERGY STAR home a better investment for tomorrow as well.

Wall-to-Wall Comfort

What does it feel like to live in an ENERGY STAR new home? From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll see, feel and hear the difference. Ask anyone who has ever lived in an ENERGY STAR certified home to go back to their drafty, inefficient old home and you’ll hear that there is no way they are giving up the comfort of their new ENERGY STAR home.

  • Comfort is ensured with consistent temperatures throughout the home, enhanced indoor air quality, and protection against air pollutants, drafts, excessive humidity, damaging sunlight, and noise.

Enduring Quality

A new home should be built to last. With an ENERGY STAR certified new home, there’s a comprehensive approach to construction involving the best tried-and-true construction practices used from the ground up. This includes:

  • An efficient, quality-installed heating, ventilation, and cooling system
  • A thermal enclosure system
  • A water management system
  • Energy-efficient appliances, lighting, windows, and doors

A certified, independent third-party inspector also verifies that the home meets EPA’s rigorous requirements through a series of on-site inspections and performance tests.

Environmental Protection

  • By using less energy from fossil fuels, ENERGY STAR certified homes help to prevent air pollution—an added benefit for today’s environmentally-conscious consumer looking for “green” choices.
