Welcome to the Program

Welcome to the Pepco Smart Home Pilot Program! This pilot will help you take greater control of your home’s energy use, increase comfort, and reduce costs. Pepco’s Smart Home technology will enable you to:

  • Monitor and manage lighting, home appliances, smart thermostats and other devices remotely —anytime, anywhere.
  • Control lighting, appliances, compatible smart thermostats, and more.
  • Receive notifications about your home’s energy use.
  • Save energy by using automated smart home rules customized to your specific energy needs.

Ready to get started? Follow the steps below to set up your new Pepco Smart Home devices.

1. Read the Pepco Smart Home Quick Start Guide

When your kit arrives, be sure to read the included Quick Start Guide. It provides easy, step-by-step instructions for installing the gateway and connecting the various smart home devices. The guide also offers tips and tricks that will help you navigate the Pepco Smart Home app.

2. Get Familiar with Your Pepco Smart Home Devices

Your Pepco Smart Home kit is filled with easy-to-use smart devices like smart plugs and motion sensors. These devices work to monitor and automate various household tasks, such as turning lights or appliances on and off, all while helping your home run more efficiently.

3. Download the Pepco Smart Home App

The app is available for both Android and iOS. It will guide you through setting up your new smart home system and help you seamlessly manage your new devices with a click of button.
